On 2 February 2026, RAI Amsterdam celebrated 65 years at Europaplein. Since 1961, organisers, exhibitors, visitors and partners from all over the world have been coming together here. The complex opened on 2 February 1961 and has since been extended and renovated on several occasions. Europaplein has thus become one of the most important venues for trade fairs, conferences and major events in the Netherlands.
Whether it’s a gala dinner, a party, an exhibition or a conference, the RAI provides the setting. The programme is constantly changing, ranging from trade fairs and consumer exhibitions to international conferences and major public events. As a result, Europaplein is a lively place all year round.
Europaplein is situated in Zuidas, one of Amsterdam’s most dynamic business districts. Close to the RAI is Beatrixpark, a small, peaceful park dating from 1938. This makes it possible to combine your visit to a trade fair or conference with a stroll through the park. There are also plenty of options in the area for lunch or a drink before or after your visit.
