Be blown away by Maastricht, the Netherlands’ answer to the south of France. Whether wandering along the original city walls, browsing through books in stunning medieval settings, or shopping in the old town: Maastricht is a truly multi-faceted city. Hundreds of international students cycle through its streets, passers-by smile and greet each other, and you can't help but relax and unwind on the banks of the Meuse river. If you live in the Netherlands and fancy a staycation, jump in your car and head south. You'll find a Q-Park car park near all popular destinations
We have numerous car parks located throughout Maastricht, making it the ideal place to visit by car. Your voyage of discovery begins wherever you want it to. If you're a fan of older buildings and monuments, start your day at Onze Lieve Vrouweplein square and walk straight over to Onze Lieve Vrouwebasiliek (Basilica of our Lady). Visit the centre of Maastricht and have a look at its historic town hall or the Museum aan het Vrijthof. If you're a literature lover, you can spend the whole day in Dominicanenkerk, a converted Gothic church that's now home to a library and a treasure trove of books.
But Maastricht is also the place to be for shopaholics and foodies. Visit the Bijenkorf, one of most inspiring and creative department stores, and park nearby in one of the Q-Park car parks. Once you're done shopping, grab a table on a terrace at Vrijthof square and indulge in some traditional, regional sweet tart – vlaai. You could also see one of the many performances at Theater aan het Vrijthof. If you've worked up a big appetite, you can reserve a table at a typical Limburg restaurant and look forward to a fusion of Dutch, Belgian, and French cuisines. The more adventurous among you may choose to explore one of the caves at Sint Pietersberg hill, wandering through an underground labyrinth that once had more than 20,000 tunnels. Wherever or whenever your adventure starts, our car parks are always nearby and open 24/7.
After a long day of discovery and exploration, you can jump back into your car and drive home or to your hotel. Wherever in Maastricht you find yourself, there’s always a Q-Park car park nearby!
